Statsig is a product experimentation and feature flag platform built by former Facebook engineers who built Facebook's internal experimentation infrastructure at scale. The platform provides rigorous statistical testing for product experiments alongside feature flags and product analytics.

Statsig AI assists experiment design and analysis — suggesting appropriate sample sizes, explaining statistical significance in plain language, flagging potential biases in experiment design, and generating readable summaries of experiment results. For product teams less familiar with experimental statistics, AI assistance improves experiment quality.

Bayesian statistics option provides an alternative to traditional frequentist A/B testing — Bayesian inference is more intuitive for product teams (showing probability that B is better than A rather than p-values) and reaches conclusions faster on smaller sample sizes. For smaller products where traditional A/B testing requires very long run times, Bayesian testing is practically superior.

Feature Gates (feature flags) enable controlled feature rollouts to percentages of users with targeting by user properties — the same infrastructure that controls experiments also controls gradual rollout and kills switches.

Product Analytics within Statsig tracks user behaviour, funnels, and retention — connecting experiment results to actual user behaviour data rather than requiring separate analytics tools to understand what happened after experiment exposure.
