Zoom AI Companion is Zoom's AI assistant integrated directly into the Zoom meeting experience. For the many organisations already paying for Zoom for video conferencing, the inclusion of AI Companion at no additional cost makes it one of the most accessible AI meeting tools available.

The meeting summary feature is the most immediately useful capability. At the end of a Zoom meeting, AI Companion automatically generates a summary covering key discussion points, decisions made, and action items. This removes the need for a designated note-taker and ensures that people who were unable to attend have a quick reference to what was discussed.

The chat-with-meeting feature allows asking questions about a past meeting in natural language. If someone needs to verify what was decided about a specific topic in last week's call, they can ask the AI rather than scrubbing through recording or reading through a transcript.

Live meeting assistance allows asking questions during a meeting that AI Companion answers by searching past meeting transcripts and documents. This can quickly surface relevant information without interrupting the meeting flow.
